Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about LazyPosts

Billing

When you cancel your LazyPosts subscription, we immediately:

  • Stop scheduling new posts
  • Revoke the authentication tokens we stored for each of your social accounts — so we can never post on your behalf again
  • Delete your content queue within 30 days

Your social accounts themselves are untouched. Everything we've already posted stays up on the platforms. You also keep billing history as required by US tax law for 7 years.

If you want everything deleted immediately, visit our data deletion page.

General

Yes. When you add your website URL to a brand, LazyPosts reads it and auto-fills your voice, audience, key topics, and things you would never say. Most customers get a solid first draft in under a minute and only need to tweak a few fields.

You can re-run the extraction any time — useful after a rebrand or if you add new products to your site.

Yes. Every post idea includes an AI-generated image sized for social media. The image is shared across all platforms for the same idea — LinkedIn, Bluesky, Pinterest, etc. — so your feed looks consistent.

You can upload a reference image (a headshot, book cover, product photo) in your brand settings and we'll use it to anchor the visual style. You can also regenerate any image from the dashboard with one click.

Yes. Add an announcements or blog RSS URL to your brand settings. From the dashboard you can preview recent items from that feed and select which ones to turn into posts — we'll write the copy, generate an image, and queue the posts immediately.

This is separate from the regular autopilot queue, so announcement posts jump to the front of the schedule without displacing your existing content.

Solo plan: one post per day per brand. Pro and Agency plans support up to three posts per day per brand. You set the cadence in your brand settings along with how many days ahead you want posts queued.

All posts publish between 9am–6pm in your brand's time zone with at least a 3-hour gap between posts, so everything looks organic rather than scheduled.

Yes — you get a full 14-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card required to start. Connect your social accounts, describe your brand, and let LazyPosts generate and publish posts during the trial.

At the end of the 14 days you can subscribe to keep posting. If you do nothing, posting simply stops and you are not charged. Your brand data stays accessible in case you want to come back.

Each morning at 8am ET, LazyPosts sends a short email summarising what is scheduled to publish that day for each of your active brands. You can skim it in seconds — if everything looks good, do nothing.

If you spot something you want to change, click through to edit the post, delete it, or regenerate the image before it goes out. The morning digest can be toggled on or off per brand in your brand settings.

Yes — visit Connections → How to connect for a full walkthrough of every supported platform. Each section covers what you need before starting, the exact steps to generate credentials or authorize access, and a "Don't have an account yet?" guide if you're signing up fresh.

Bluesky is the fastest to connect (takes about two minutes). LinkedIn and Pinterest use a standard one-click OAuth flow. Mastodon requires a manual access token from your instance settings.

Yes — annual billing is available on all paid plans and works out to roughly two months free compared to paying month-to-month. Solo annual is $290/yr (vs $348 monthly), Pro annual is $590/yr (vs $708), and Agency annual is $1,490/yr (vs $1,788).

You can choose monthly or annual when you subscribe. Annual plans are billed once up front. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period — no mid-year refunds for unused time.

Getting started

When you create a brand, our AI reads your website and pulls out your voice, audience, topics you cover, and things you'd never say. You can edit any of that. Then every time we draft a post, the AI writes in your voice — not generic "marketing speak." If you add a reference image (like your book cover or headshot), we weave it into the visuals too.

Most customers find the first batch of drafts already feels right. The rest is tuning the brand profile once, then forgetting about it.

You have several options:

  • Morning digest email — every day at 8am ET you get a one-email summary of what's going out. Skim it in 10 seconds.
  • Edit inline — click into any draft on the dashboard and change the wording. Or regenerate the image.
  • Delete it — one click removes the post (and all its platform variants). A fresh idea auto-fills its slot.
  • Pause the whole brand — going on vacation or rebranding? One click halts everything.

You're in full control, but nothing's required. The posts go out either way.

No. That's the whole point. Once you've created your brand and connected your accounts, LazyPosts runs on autopilot:

  • Fresh post ideas auto-generate every day to keep a 7-day queue
  • Posts publish on schedule without you doing anything
  • The morning digest email tells you what's happening

If you never open the dashboard again, posts keep going out. Most customers check in once a week to read the digest over coffee.

Platforms

Live today for every paying customer: Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

Coming when Meta’s app review clears: Instagram and Facebook. We’ll email you the day it unlocks.

Each brand can connect to any combination. One AI-drafted idea becomes a native-feel post on every network you’ve connected — different wording per platform, same image, same day.

Usage

Yes — one click on your dashboard. Pause any brand and all scheduled posts for that brand halt immediately. Unpause when you're back and the missed posts automatically shift to the end of your queue, so you don't lose any content.

You can also pause mid-campaign for a rebrand, a product launch you want to handle manually, or any other reason. No cancel-and-restart required.
